Comments

When you (a visitor) leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your (the visitor’s) IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here.

After approval of your comment and your profile picture (or a site substitute) will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on the site you may opt to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages and posts on this site may include embedded content (ie. videos, images, GIFs, forms, etc.) Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if you (the visitor) viewed them on that original website.

Email signup forms and pages

The Saga Quest uses ConvertKit to host all newsletter forms, pages, and all newsletter content that is delivered to you (the visitor) via email. If you would like to be removed from our lists and have your personal data purged from the system just email kat@thesagaquest.com at any time.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

If you have left comments, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Non Form Contact

If you would prefer not to contact us via the provided site contact forms or would like to request that your personal data be purged from the system you can copy the following emails into your email provider of choice kat@thesagaquest.com & aleric@thesagaquest.com
