Full Focus Planner
A daily planner that spans a quarter of the year. I’d never tried a paper planner before 2022 but decided to give it a try on the recommendation of my business mentor Amy Porterfield. FF’s philosophy is instead of having a never ending To Do List you focus on 3X3. 3 daily tasks, 3 weekly objectives, and 3 quarterly goals. This has helped me feel like I am actively making real progress toward my goals and I can look over tangible proof that I am at any moment.
Scapple
Scapple is a brainstorming program by the makers of Scrivener, UK company Literate and a Latte. You can use it to make idea trees, plot out anything with digital post-it notes, or map the complicated history of the kingdom for your next D&D campaign.

Story Quest Log
Story Quest Log journaling is a system I devised to digitally catalog everything I create and learn in a day. This makes it super easy to retrieve for later use. I use a simple-to-implement system + Scrivener to ensure I never lose any of my ideas and story research + it helps me write over 100,000 words a year.
If you’d like to know more, I’m developing a course to teach others this process + I have a waitlist.

Story Creation Tools
Scrivener
Since 2010 I’ve done my story writing exclusively in this program designed by a UK company Literate and a Latte since the first PC beta version launched back in winter 2010. I prefer it so much to everything else, I have the PC, Mac, and iOS versions. Hands down it’s the best writing program I’ve worked with over the last 20 years.
I use it for everything. Story creation, daily prompt writing, note taking, writing scripts for my IG reels, and writing website copy. Seriously everything.
